It’s been 20 years since Ferndale commenced production in a small factory in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Ferndale was focused on building a new segment in the confectionery market, by offering consumers high quality, great tasting, permissible choices, able to be enjoyed without health or guilt concerns.
Understanding that consumers wanted healthier confectionery options, which were also convenient and portable, suitable for pockets and handbags, was fundamental in our brands quickly achieving strong consumer acceptance and popularity which continues to this day.
Over the past 20 years, Ferndale’s product and pack innovation has given consumers exciting new choices for sugar free, fat free, no artificial colours or flavours, inherent nutritional attributes, including 100% safe for teeth and high levels of soluble dietary fibre, combined with highly convenient “click shut” pocket packs.
Superior, consistent, quality products and packaging offering outstanding value for money, was our primary objective, then- and remains so now.
