Corey was appointed as Technical Manager with Ferndale Confectionery in September 2017 after spending 16 years in beverage and 3 years in dairy manufacturing. Corey is a qualified Food Technologist and Microbiologist and holds a degree in Food Science and technology from the University of Ballarat.
He has extensive knowledge and experience in quality assurance and food production systems. Corey started his career as a line operator in the beverage industry and worked his way up to Plant Manager with a key focus on quality control and production efficiency. He recently completed 3 years as Quality Assurance Manager with one of the country’s largest producers of high quality non-bovine dairy products.
Corey has been instrumental in the growth of The So Soft Marshmallow Co. and is ‘our main man’ in all things marshmallow!
Outside of work Corey is a keen brewer and has a passion for music production and performance.
